LANE — PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
We run LinkedIn® Ads for consulting, accounting, law, recruiting and agency firms — measured in booked meetings and qualified inquiries, against a published fee.
Minimum ad spend $10,000 a month. Teardown delivered in 3 business days.
THE FIRST OBJECTION
Advertising does not replace a referral engine, and any agency that tells you it will is selling something else. What advertising changes is what happens in the gap between the referral and the call. Somebody is given your name, looks you up, and decides quickly whether you look like the firm they were told about. Being the name that is already familiar when that check happens is most of the job.
It also does the one thing referrals cannot: it reaches the firms nobody has introduced you to yet. Published buyer research supports the point, and rather than put a statistic in a headline we answer it properly in the questions at the bottom of this page, with the source and the date we last checked it.
What advertising can do
Make your name familiar before the introduction is checked
Reach firms who will never be introduced to you
Fill one named, packaged offer with people who match your ICP
Give you a source of meetings that does not depend on who a partner happens to know
What advertising cannot do
Replace a referral relationship
Sell a service that has no packaged offer behind it
Work from a contact page with nothing described on the other side
Shorten a decision that a committee has to make together
WHO THIS IS FOR
An assessment, a diagnostic or a benchmark report the buyer can act on before they ever speak to you.
A year-end or funding-stage checklist, or a short assessment aimed at one named company size.
A practice-area guide or a compliance briefing. Creative and targeting are built to your state bar’s advertising rules and go through your own reviewer before anything runs.
A salary or hiring-market report aimed at the hiring side, not at candidates.
A teardown, an audit, or a worked example of the thing you actually do.
REGULATED FIRMS
If you are a regulated firm — law, accounting, investment advice or a broker-dealer — your rules come before ours. Ad copy and landing pages go to your compliance reviewer or registered principal before anything runs, that review time is built into the schedule rather than discovered halfway through, and we make no claim about outcomes in any creative.
THE UNIT
01
Ad spend divided by meetings that actually happened, counted in your own calendar.
02
Against a definition of qualified that you write in week one and we hold to all quarter.
03
How many qualified inquiries reach a written proposal.
04
For firms working a named list rather than a market.
‘Leads’ as a raw count is not on that list. A partner does not have a lead problem, a partner has a calendar. So the unit is a meeting that happened, and the record of truth is yours, not the ad platform’s.
FORMATS
THOUGHT LEADER ADS
A partner’s own post, promoted under their name, with their permission requested and granted in Campaign Manager — the closest paid equivalent of a referral. Two limits are worth knowing: only single-image or single-video organic posts are eligible, and those versions carry no call-to-action button.
DOCUMENT ADS
The report, guide or briefing read inside the feed. This is where a firm’s actual expertise does the selling, before anyone is asked for anything.
CONVERSATION ADS
Several call-to-action buttons inside one inbox message, useful against a short named list, and billed per send. In the EEA and Switzerland these reach only members who have opted in to receive them, so the addressable audience there is smaller than a targeting estimate suggests.
SINGLE IMAGE AND VIDEO
Retargeting, event and roundtable promotion, and driving to your own page where your own tracking is.
LEAD GEN FORMS
Pre-filled from the member’s own profile, so nobody retypes anything. Good for a report. For a meeting request we send people to your own page instead, because the extra step does useful qualifying and the tracking stays yours. We publish no conversion rate for either — the figures in circulation disagree with each other and none of them measures the same event.
Format availability and its limits are LinkedIn’s, not ours, and they change. Every line here is checked against LinkedIn’s own documentation before it is published.
THE OFFER
Targeting can put the right partner in front of your ad. It cannot make them want what is on the other side of the click. In this lane the offer is where campaigns fail, and the offer that fails most predictably is a version of ‘get in touch’.
Offers that work
A named assessment with a stated scope and a stated length
A report or briefing worth reading whether or not they hire you
A roundtable, briefing or a seat at a small event
A consultation about one specific problem, described in one sentence
Offers that do not
Contact us
Learn more about our services
A general newsletter signup
A meeting request with nothing described on the other side
SCOPE
Which of these are in scope at your tier is set by the tier table on the pricing page. Anything restricted to a tier is named as such in both places.
THE FIRST 90 DAYS
01
The offer named and written, the definition of a qualified inquiry agreed in writing, tracking built, and the compliance route for creative agreed with your reviewer.
02
A document or report offer running against a tight audience, with a partner’s promoted post running beside it where somebody is willing.
03
Retargeting to the offer, the losing half cut, and the report moving from inquiries to meetings that happened.
PROOF
No professional-services results are published here yet. Firms in this lane rarely want their name on an advertising case study, and nothing appears here until one has agreed to it in writing. Until then, the teardown shows you the standard of the work on your own campaigns.
FEES
60 days, once. The tier below the published minimum spend.
a month
The tier that starts at the published minimum spend.
a month
Full funnel, offline conversion import, a closer reporting cadence.
a month
Named account lists and multi-region work.
of ad spend, minimum $9,750 a month
You pay PeakSearch Digital. PeakSearch Digital then pays LinkedIn, and the analytics software your campaigns use, on your behalf. That spend is passed through at cost with no mark-up, and it is separate from the management fee.
QUESTIONS
Because the referral gets checked before the call. In 6sense's 2025 Buyer Experience Report, 94% of buying groups had already ranked a preferred vendor before their first contact with any vendor, and bought from that vendor 77% of the time. That is 6sense's research rather than ours, and we last checked it on the date shown below. Advertising is how a firm becomes the familiar name before that ranking happens. It does not replace the referral.

Yes, within your state's rules, and those rules come first. Nothing runs before your own reviewer has approved it, we make no claim about case outcomes, and we do not build connection-request or direct-message sequences for regulated firms at all.
No. Thought Leader Ads promote a written post, not a video, and the person whose name is on it approves the promotion in Campaign Manager. If nobody wants their name on an ad, the lane still works on Document Ads — it just works more slowly.
You define it in week one, in writing, and we hold to that definition for the whole quarter. Usually it is the right firm size, the right role, a real problem described, and a willingness to take a meeting.
Completely. Outreach messages go to people who did not ask for them, and they are the reason many partners assume LinkedIn advertising is spam. We run paid campaigns in Campaign Manager. We do not send connection requests, we do not run automated sequences, and we do not buy or scrape lists.
90 days, then 30 days. This platform needs a quarter before its numbers mean anything, and in a lane with long decisions it needs the full quarter more than most.
A recorded walkthrough of your Campaign Manager account and a one-page plan, in 3 business days. If you have never advertised, the same review covers the plan instead: who to reach, what offer, what it should cost.
No sales pitch. We reply within 1 business day.
